Junior Kabaddi World Cup, and Iran’s National Team have powered to the last 8 of the event, after posting a 70-29 win over Malaysia in Group A conclusion night.
According to Press TV, in the first half Iran got on the front foot and outplayed Malaysia in both offense and defense to hit the locker room with a 45-8 lead. After the restart, Iran slowed down a little bit and Malaysia reduced the gap; nevertheless, Seyed Javad Mousavi Nasab’s men held them at bay and marched on to a massive 70-29 victory, which sets them up against Chinese-Taipei in the quarterfinals of the tournament. The match will be played on Thursday.
The event kicked off on the ninth of November in Iran’s Kish Island and will last until November the 15th.
