Ayatollah Khamenei condoles passing away of Assembly of Experts’ member

Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei offered his condolences on the passing away of member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts Ayatollah Ebrahim Amini.

According to Tasnim news agency, in a message on Saturday, Ayatollah Khamenei paid tribute to the deceased as a devout cleric who dedicated his life to promotion of Islamic teachings.

The Leader also lauded Ayatollah Amini for his political and social activities and serving in various posts in the Islamic Republic.

The member of Iran’s Assembly of Experts passed away at the age of 95 in the holy city of Qom on Friday.

He was also a former vice chairman of the Assembly, a high-ranking body of experts which elects and oversees the activities of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
