Asian C'ships: Iran Greco-Roman team wins 5 medals

In the Asian Wrestling Championships, Iranian Greco-Roman warriors have bagged three gold medals, a silver and a bronze, on the first day of the event, which is underway in Kazakhstan.

According to Press TV, Ali-Akbar Yousefi grabbed gold in the 130kg weight-class, following a 5-1 win over his Kazakh opponent. Naser Alizadeh and Pejman Poshtaam also pocketed gold for Iran in the 87 and 77kg categories respectively.

Meysam Delkhani suffered an 8-3 loss against his Kazakh opponent in the 63kg final to settle for silver, while Pouya Daadmarz grabbed the bronze in the 55 KG category, with a technical fall victory over his Tajik opponent in only 80 seconds.
