Iran, Qatar, Syria and Lebanon condemn Israel's savage aggression against Gaza
Iran’s Foreign Minister Hossein Amir-Abdollahian had a phone call with his Qatari counterpart, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, in which the two sides discussed the latest developments in the besieged Gaza Strip.
According to Press TV, Amir-Abdollahian strongly condemned Israel's savage aggression against Gaza, saying, “This act of aggression and subsequent martyrdom of scores of Palestinian women and children stem from the aggressive and savage nature of this regime.”
Iran’s foreign minister also quoted the Secretary General of the Gaza-based Islamic Jihad Movement, Ziad al-Nakhala, as telling him in a Saturday phone call that the Palestinian resistance has prepared a comprehensive plan to give a strong and effective response to Israel.
The Qatari foreign minister, for his part, condemned the latest aggression by Israel and said measures were underway to achieve a truce between the two sides.
He added that Israel's provocative acts at Al-Aqsa Mosque were the main reason behind escalation of the recent military conflict.

Iran, Syria slam Israel's savagery, intl. silence on regime’s crimes
In another development on Sunday, Iran’s foreign minister had a phone call with his Syrian counterpart, Faisal Mekdad to discuss the current situation in Gaza.
The Iranian top diplomat slammed the occupying regime’s acts of savagery against Palestinians, especially defenseless women and children.
He said such inhumane acts are being taken under complete lull of international organizations and certain false advocates of human rights.
The Syrian foreign minister, for his part, highlighted the need for international action to prevent continued aggressions of the Zionist regime.
Mekdad also strongly condemned the regime’s incessant attacks on innocent civilians in the Gaza Strip.
Amir-Abdollahian also discussed the current escalation in Gaza and the Israeli regime’s brutal strikes on the innocent Palestinian people with his Lebanese counterpart, Abdallah Bou Habib.
