7% increase in Iran's steel production despite global decline

The World Steel Association reported that Iran's crude steel production from January to April 2024 has increased by 7.2% despite a decline in global production. Iran has produced approximately 10.3 million tons of crude steel, maintaining its position among the top 10 steel-producing countries out of 71 global producers.
