Iran ranks third in world Olympiad medal count in 2024
Pars Today - The Islamic Republic of Iran has secured the third place in the medal count of the 2024 World Student Olympiads.
With the conclusion of the 2024 science Olympiads, Iran has won 22 colorful medals in 5 Olympiads with the highest number of participating countries (ranging from 53 to 110 countries). According to Pars Today, Iran has won a total of 10 gold medals, 10 silver medals, and 2 bronze medals, securing the third place in the world.
It is worth noting that in 2024, Iranian students achieved remarkable success by winning the first place in the World Astronomy and Astrophysics Olympiad, fourth place in the Biology and Physics Olympiads, eighth place in the Chemistry Olympiad, ninth place in the Computer Olympiad, and 18th place in the Mathematics Olympiad.
