Delegations from seven countries explore Iran’s achievements in nanotechnology
Pars Today – High-level delegations from Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, Serbia, Honduras, China, and Vietnam were introduced to the Islamic Republic of Iran’s advancements in nanotechnology and its health-related applications during a specialized meeting in Tehran.
At the event, Emad Ahmadvand, Secretary of the Headquarters for Nanotechnology and Microtechnology Development, outlined Iran’s progress in the field, highlighting growth in academic research, infrastructure, and the presence of knowledge-based companies in the nanotech market. Mohammad-Mehdi Seifi, Director of Health Business Development at the Nanotechnology Headquarters, presented examples of Iranian nanotech products and technologies used in diagnostics, treatment, and public health, positioning Iran among the global leaders in this domain. / IRNA
