  • Iran: Sky News' claim about Iranian missiles is “speculative fiction”

Pars Today - The Iranian Embassy in London, rejecting Sky News' claim about the transfer of Iranian missiles to Russia, emphasized that Sky News' action was not based on professional media standards, but rather a speculative fiction.

Sky News had claimed in a report that satellite images showed a Russian-flagged cargo ship suspected of transporting ballistic missiles from Iran. According to Pars Today, the Iranian Embassy in London stated in a notice: "Sky News claims Iran transferred missiles to Russia via the Port Olya 3 ship based solely on a satellite image! No evidence of missiles being loaded or unloaded, and the location isn’t even specified. This isn’t journalism, it’s speculative fiction."

It is worth noting that Iranian and Russian officials have repeatedly denied allegations of military cooperation related to the Ukraine war, describing them as baseless.

Iranian Foreign Minister Seyyed Abbas Araghchi had previously stated in a post on the social media platform X: "Iran has not sent ballistic missiles to Russia. Period."

Key phrases: Iran-Russia cooperation, Iranian Embassy in London, Ukraine-Russia war, Sky News
