    Nanotechnology expert meeting in Tehran

Pars Today - A specialized nanotechnology meeting, attended by Venezuela, Vietnam, Cuba, Russia, Serbia, Honduras, and China, was held today in Tehran.

High-ranking delegations from Venezuela, Cuba, Russia, Serbia, Honduras, China, and Vietnam learned about the Islamic Republic of Iran's achievements in nanotechnology and its health applications during a specialized meeting in Tehran on Saturday.

According to Pars Today, in this meeting, Emad Ahmadvand, Secretary of Iran's Nanotechnology and Microtechnology Development Headquarters, explained the Islamic Republic of Iran's progress in this field. He reported on the growth of scientific articles, university dissertations, technological infrastructures, and the presence of knowledge-based companies in the nano products market.

Mohammad Mehdi Seifi, head of Business Development in the Health and Medicine at Iran's Nano Headquarters, also explained Iran's position among leading countries by presenting examples of nano products and technologies in diagnosis, treatment, and public health.

The Vice President and Minister of Health of Venezuela, the Minister of Health of Cuba, the Russian Ambassador to Iran, and scientific and academic delegations from Venezuela were among the invitees to this meeting.

Representatives from these countries welcomed Iran's advancements and emphasized expanding scientific cooperation and exchanging experiences.
