Pars Today – The president of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a telephone conversation with his Iraqi counterpart on the occasion of Eid al-Adha, emphasized strengthening Islamic unity, expanding bilateral cooperation, and continuing the fraternal relations between Tehran and Baghdad.

Masoud Pezeshkian, in his conversation with Iraqi President Abdul Latif Rashid, congratulated the friendly and brotherly people and government of Iraq on the occasion of Eid al-Adha—a noble symbol of unity, brotherhood, and self-sacrifice before God. He expressed hope that the blessings of this great Eid would be reflected in stronger interactions and relations among Islamic countries. For his part, the Iraqi president described bilateral ties as being at their best and reaffirmed Iraq’s full readiness to enhance cooperation and coordination with Tehran. (IRIB news agency)
