Yemen’s Ansarullah shoots down third Saudi drone

Pars Today — A spokesperson for Yemen’s armed forces has announced the downing of a third Saudi drone within the past 24 hours.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Yahya Saree, spokesman for Yemen’s armed forces, announced on Monday that Yemeni forces had shot down a Saudi-made Wing Loong II armed reconnaissance drone while it was carrying out hostile operations in Yemen’s al-Bayda Province.

Yahya Saree said the drone was the third one to have been shot down over the past 24 hours.

Yemen’s Ansarullah announced in July that it was imposing a maritime blockade on Saudi Arabia in the Bab al-Mandab Strait, describing the move as a response to Riyadh’s years-long blockade of Yemen.
