IRGC captures U.S. smart unmanned underwater vehicle in Strait of Hormuz

Pars Today- The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Navy has announced the capture of a U.S. enemy smart unmanned underwater vehicle in the Strait of Hormuz.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, the IRGC said in a statement on Tuesday: “With the special grace of Almighty God, the IRGC Navy’s combatants captured one of the most advanced smart unmanned submarines of the U.S. terrorist military at the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz at dawn today, in a complex intelligence and operational operation.”

The statement added: “This smart underwater vehicle is equipped with the latest technology in the field of underwater systems in the world and was delivered to the fleet of the U.S. terrorist military in 2025.”

The IRGC statement said: “The underwater vehicle has now been taken as a war trophy, and images of it will be released in the coming hours.”
