Pars Today – Maryam Molla-Bagher Ketabforoush, a 60-year-old mother of two and resident of Damavand Street in Tehran, was martyred in a brutal attack by the Zionist regime.

According to Pars Today, at a time when the shadow of enemy aggression had crept deep into homes, Maryam Molla-Bagher Ketabforoush, a 60-year-old mother of two and resident of Damavand Street in Tehran, was martyred in an Israeli strike. Her house was destroyed, and her body remained under the rubble for three days. She was neither a soldier nor a political activist—just a quiet mother and a patient wife, who had lived a calm and humble life. But in the eyes of the enemy’s madness, there is no difference between a battlefield and a kitchen.

A voice of sorrow, a voice of resistance

As Hamshahri reported, the voice of Tahereh, Maryam’s sister, seemed to rise from beyond this world—carrying the silent scream of a woman who was never political, but became the victim of a political crime. Her grief made her voice tremble, pausing between silence and broken words:

My sister was a housewife, a mother of two, living on Damavand Street. On June 15, after a direct attack by the cursed Zionist regime, their home was directly struck. She remained under the rubble for three days. After that, we received her body and laid her to rest.”

A patience no missile could break

Her eyes fixed on a distant point on the wall, she spoke of a sister known throughout the family for her kindness and calm demeanor. Her voice was no longer filled with sorrow alone; now, with every word, a mix of anger and longing flowed through.

She continued: “Maryam was so patient and kind. Everyone in the family knew it. Her ability to remain calm in the face of hardship was extraordinary. She wasn’t political, but whenever she saw images of the children of Gaza on television, she would cry uncontrollably. Even if she wasn’t political, her heart was always with the oppressed.”

A simple mother, victim of a clear crime

She paused. Her lips trembled. She wiped the tears from her eyes and continued in a voice full of pain but unwavering:

My sister had no political job or activity. She was just a homemaker. But to Israel, that doesn’t matter—old or young, man or woman, military or civilian. That night, maybe she was waiting for her husband to return, or for her children to come home. Was her only crime being a mother? The emptiness left by her absence is unbearable, and the grief weighs heavily on all of us. She is now buried among the martyrs in Section 42 of Behesht-e Zahra, which is a source of pride. We, the ones left behind, follow Imam Khamenei and demand revenge for our precious martyrs. I’m certain our brave fighters will sever the enemy’s criminal hand at its root.”

We were all one Iran

Her eyes lit up. The sorrow that once strangled her words had become a flame in the darkness. With a voice stronger than before, she said:

After Israel’s attack, Iran became united. Even women who once seemed different were shouting ‘Allahu Akbar!’ Let Israel know— Even if they destroyed every single home, we would still stand.

A husband bound by a blood oath

Maryam Molla-Bagher leaves behind two sons and two grandchildren, aged 3 and 4. She always prayed for their well-being and wished they would become contributors to society—not burdens. Her husband, Ehsan Meshki-Baf, stood firm and spoke with resolve:

My wife became a victim of the Zionist regime’s savagery. Now, my sons and I stand with full strength—until the end, to honor the blood of the martyrs, for Iran, and for Islam.”
