Pars Today – Ayatollah Khamenei described the emergence of national matter during the imposed war by Israel and the U.S. as highly significant and a barrier to the enemy's plans, adding: The aggressors' calculation and scheme were that by attacking certain Iranian figures and sensitive centers, the system would be weakened.

The Leader of the Islamic Revolution, in a meeting on Wednesday morning with the head and senior officials of the Judiciary as well as the chiefs of justice departments from across Iran, analyzed the Iranian people’s great role in the recent imposed war and the failure of the aggressors' calculations and plans. The Leader highlighted the immense unity of the Iranian people—despite political differences and varying religious inclinations—in defending the beloved Iran, stressing: It is everyone’s duty to preserve this national unity.

According to Pars Today, Ayatollah Khamenei stated: The people’s great achievement in the 12-day war was one of determination, willpower, and national self-confidence, because the very spirit and readiness to confront a power like the U.S. and its rabid Zionist regime is immensely valuable.

Referring to published memoirs of Pahlavi regime figures who dared not even privately protest against the U.S., the Leader noted: Iran has progressed from that era to a point where it not only does not fear America but frightens it. This national spirit and resolve are what make Iran proud and help it achieve its grand aspirations.

Emphasizing that both friends and foes should know the Iranian nation will never enter any arena as the weaker side, the Leader added: We possess all necessary tools, from logic to military strength. Thus, whether in diplomacy or on the battlefield, whenever we engage, by God’s grace, we will enter with full hands.

Ayatollah Khamenei stressed: While we consider the Zionist regime a cancer and America a criminal for supporting it, we did not seek war—though whenever the enemy attacked, our response was decisive and powerful.

The Leader cited the Zionist regime’s desperate reliance on America as clear proof of Iran’s strong retaliation, stating: If the Zionist regime had not bowed down and clung to the ground, and if it were capable of defending itself, it would not have turned to America like that. But it understood that it could not stand against the Islamic Republic.

The Leader described Iran’s counterstrike against the U.S. as targeting an extremely sensitive center, adding: The center Iran struck was a highly sensitive American facility in the region. Once media censorship is lifted, the magnitude of Iran’s blow will become clear. And even greater strikes can be delivered against the U.S. and others.

Ayatollah Khamenei described the emergence of a national cause in the recent war as highly significant and a major obstacle to the enemy’s plans, and stated: The aggressors had calculated and planned that by attacking certain individuals and sensitive centers in Iran, the system would be weakened. Then, by activating their sleeper cells of mercenaries — from the MEK and monarchists to thugs and criminals— they could provoke the people, bring them into the streets, and ultimately bring down the system.

In reality, the exact opposite of the enemy’s plan occurred, revealing that many of the assumptions held by some individuals in political and related spheres were also incorrect.

Referring to the exposure of the true face, schemes, and hidden objectives of the aggressor enemy to the public, the Leader added: God nullified their plot and moved the people to step in and support the government and the system — and the people, contrary to the enemy’s expectations, rose up to offer both moral and material support to the system.

The Leader of the Revolution described the act of speaking out and standing together by individuals with completely different religious standings and even opposing or different political orientations as a source of great national unity. Emphasizing the need to preserve this great unity, the Leader stated: Everyone — whether a journalist, judge, government official, cleric, or Friday prayers leader — is responsible for safeguarding and protecting national unity.
