Pars Today – Iran’s female taekwondo athletes secured the Asian runner-up title.

The 13th Asian Junior Taekwondo Championships, featuring competitors from 36 countries, was held at the Perpaduan Hall in Kuching, Malaysia. According to Pars Today, Iran’s female athletes—Elina Alipour, Zahra Fallah, and Saina Khanalifard—won gold medals.

Negar Mozaffari and Fatemeh Eskandarnia claimed two silver medals, while Rojan Goodarzi earned a bronze. 

With three golds, two silvers, and two bronzes, Iran’s junior women’s taekwondo team finished as the runner-up, behind South Korea. 

Iranian women’s third straight win at Asian skating championships 

On Saturday, Iran’s national women’s inline hockey team faced powerhouse South Korea in their third match of the Asian Championships and secured a decisive 8-0 victory. With this third consecutive win, Iran confirmed its bronze medal in the tournament. 

Iranian female referees to officiate in AFC Women’s Champions League 

The Asian Football Confederation (AFC) announced on Saturday that Iranian referees will officiate in the 2025-26 AFC Women’s Champions League. Mahnaz Zokaei has been selected as a referee, while Atena Lashni and Bahareh Seifi-Nahavandi will serve as assistant referees.
