Thoughts of Imam Khomeini | “We must prevail over America; America can do nothing”

Pars Today – Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), the Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, stressed: “We must overcome America and defeat it across the entire region.”
According to Pars Today, Imam Khomeini, the revered Founder of the Islamic Republic of Iran, said in an interview with Time magazine on January 5, 1980:
“We know America well and we know that we can resist it and defend our honour. We have shown that we can resist. We must prevail over America and defeat it throughout the region.”
We will not submit to humiliation
Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul), in a speech to members of the Iranian delegation at the Inter-Parliamentary Conference on October 13, 1982, said:
“Can we become servants and captives of America and the infidel governments so that some things become cheaper and we do not give martyrs and wounded? Never — the nation will not accept this disgrace and will not submit to such humiliation. The Iranian nation stands up to America and, God willing, will be victorious.”
America wants Iran’s oil
The Founder of the Islamic Republic also noted:
“What can we do about our relations with America? Our relationship with America is the relationship of an oppressed to an oppressor. They want to have a market in Iran. They again lust after our oil and want to consume it.” (Sahifeh Imam, vol. 7, p. 357)
America cannot do a damn thing
Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul) also said:
"Young people should be confident that America cannot do a damn thing. Can America stand against the whole world and carry out military intervention? It would be a grave mistake for them to attempt it. Do not be afraid, and do not let others be afraid." (Sahifeh Imam, vol. 10, pp. 516–517)
The Founder of the Islamic Republic emphasized: "The world must know that Iran has found its path, and until the interests of the predatory American empire are curtailed, this bitter enemy of the oppressed people of the world will face relentless resistance from us." (Sahifeh Imam, vol. 15, p. 171)
