Baghaei: Iranian military forces targeting only U.S. bases

Pars Today — Iran’s Foreign Ministry spokesperson emphasized that Iranian military forces are precisely targeting only American bases.

According to Pars Today, Esmaeil Baghaei, spokesperson for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Iran, said in an interview with Al Arabiya on Thursday that Iran has been subjected to an illegal attack by the United States and Israel.

Baghaei added that Iran’s recent military actions in the region fall within the framework of the right to self-defense, stressing that Iran has no hostility toward neighboring countries and has no intention of attacking them.

He noted that Iranian military forces are carefully targeting only American bases.

Baghaei added that Iran was subjected to an illegal attack by the United States and the Zionist regime on the tenth day of the holy month of Ramadan, calling it a major crime and a clear act of aggression against the sovereignty of the Islamic Republic of Iran. He stressed that Iran had previously declared that if it came under any kind of attack, it would respond decisively and comprehensively.
