Pars Today - The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran stated: "The enemy had crude misconceptions about my words and statements, and their goal is for us and neighboring countries to be at war."
According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Masoud Pezeshkian, the President of Iran, addressing the people of Iran during a review of the country's medical issues, said: "The enemy had crude misconceptions about my statements, and their goal is for us and neighboring countries to be at war, and they are seeking to create discord between us and other countries."
Pezeshkian noted: "If they attack and transgress our territory from any country, we will be forced to respond to this attack. This response does not mean that we have a dispute or disagreement with that country, or that we want to upset its people. We inevitably must respond."
He stated: "The greater the pressure on our people and territory, the greater our power to confront will be."
Pezeshkian continued: "We stand with power against those who attack our country and respond with power. Certainly, our armed forces and Basij members are present in all parts of the country and will defend the homeland with all their might, and they will undoubtedly disrupt the dreams that the enemy has envisioned for us. Iran and our homeland have not bowed and will not bow to bullying, injustice, and aggression."
The member of the interim leadership council emphasized at the end: "Despite all the problems and concerns that exist in Iran and the country, we will stand against the enemy with all our being, with the presence of all the people, parties, groups, and factions, and we will not allow them to seize even one inch of our country's soil."
