Pars Today – The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran and Italy’s Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani exchanged views in a phone conversation regarding regional developments.
According to Pars Today, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, held a telephone conversation on Wednesday with Antonio Tajani, Italy’s Foreign Minister, discussing regional developments and the security, legal, and economic consequences of the military aggression by the United States and the Zionist regime against Iran.
Explaining the crimes committed by the American‑Israeli aggressors against Iran during the recent military attack, he emphasized the responsibility of all governments to condemn the blatant violations of the United Nations Charter and international law by the aggressors.
Iran’s foreign minister described the current situation in the Strait of Hormuz as the direct result of U.S. lawlessness and unilateral action in carrying out military aggression against an independent UN member state. He stated: Iran, as the coastal state of the Strait of Hormuz, has taken measures in accordance with international law to safeguard its national security against the aggression and threats of the United States and Israel, and the responsibility for the consequences of this situation on the global economy lies with the aggressors.
