Araghchi: Continuous consultations with China are very important for Iran

Pars Today – The Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Iran, in a report on his recent visit to China, emphasized that given the deep strategic partnership between the two countries, continuous and close consultations with China are of great importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran.

According to Pars Today, Seyed Abbas Araghchi, Iran’s Foreign Minister, wrote on social media: “I have had a constructive meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi in Beijing.”

Araghchi stressed: “Given the deep strategic partnership between the two countries, continuous and close consultations with China are of great importance to the Islamic Republic of Iran.”

Iran’s Foreign Minister wrote: “In this meeting, we reviewed and exchanged views on key issues, including the recent imposed war against Iran, the situation in the Strait of Hormuz and developments in the West Asia region, the expansion of trade relations, and the development of international cooperation.”

The senior diplomat of the Islamic Republic of Iran concluded: “During this visit, China’s supportive and constructive positions toward the Islamic Republic of Iran were once again emphasized.”
