Memoirs of martyred Leader of Revolution published in Russian
Pars Today – The book “Cell 14”, containing the memoirs of Ayatollah Khamenei, the martyred Leader of the Revolution, about his years of exile and imprisonment during the Pahlavi era, has been published in Russian.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News Agency, the book “Cell 14” includes the memoirs of Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei from his prison terms and exile during the years of struggle leading up to the Islamic Revolution. The original version of the book was written in Arabic and published in Beirut under the title “Indeed, with Patience Comes Victory”. It was later translated and published in Persian under the title “Cell 14”.
The book has now been translated into Russian by Alexander Andvyushkin and published in a 256-page edition by AST (АСТ) and Sadra Publishing, making it available to readers interested in the history of the Islamic Revolution and the personality of the martyred Leader of the Revolution.
What distinguishes this book from similar works is the expression of wisdom, lessons, and insights shared throughout the narrative. Each of these can serve as a guiding light for readers—especially the youth—to learn about the atrocities of the Pahlavi regime, as well as the hardships, bitterness, and sufferings of the activists, contrasted with the steadfastness, resistance, sincerity, and faith of the revolutionaries.
AST Publishing has previously invested in and published Russian translations of the Holy Quran and Nahj al-Balagha, as well as a Russian audiobook of Nahj al-Balagha, which were prepared and produced by the Ibn Sina Foundation and Sadra Publishing.
