Pars Today – China’s ambassador in Tehran, stating that Beijing’s support for Iran is unconditional, said: “We are ready to play a role in the reconstruction of Iran.”

According to Pars Today, Cong Peiwu, China’s ambassador in Tehran, met with Mohammad Ali Amani to discuss the latest regional developments, Iran’s resistance against the recent aggression, prospects for cooperation in the post-war period, and the facilitation of travel for traders and tourists.

During the meeting, Cong Peiwu stressed: “China’s support for Iran is clear and unconditional.”

He referred to the Chinese President’s four proposals for global peace and stability, emphasizing commitment to peace, respect for international law, and opposition to hegemony.

The Chinese ambassador added that “in difficult times, we recognize our true friends,” and stated: “We are ready to play our role in the reconstruction of Iran—not only in bilateral relations but also on the international stage in defense of justice.”

Zhong Peiwu noted the special attention of the Chinese public toward Iran and said that China has so far delivered 58 tons of medicine to the Iranian side. He also mentioned that this year marks the first year of China’s 15th Five-Year Plan, adding that with around 5% economic growth, China currently has one of the highest growth rates in the world.

In response to requests regarding visa facilitation, he said efforts are underway to simplify the process.

In another part of his remarks, he stated that while there is still a distance until the end of the war, these challenges create opportunities to strengthen mutual political trust between the two countries, adding that enhancing this trust remains a top priority.
