Pezeshkian: Iranian people stand united and in solidarity against enemies’ plots

Pars Today – Iran’s President said that the widespread unity and solidarity of the Iranian people in all areas have been the main obstacle preventing enemies’ plans to undermine Iran’s security and stability.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Masoud Pezeshkian, President of Iran, spoke to the Iranian people in a televised address on Wednesday about recent developments and challenges facing the country.

Referring to the start of the “snapback” mechanism, the 12-day war, and the unrest on January 8 and 9, Pezeshkian said that enemies had sought, through their planned scenarios, to quickly take control of Iran. He added that later, the Ramadan war and the martyrdom of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution and commanders intensified the pressure.

However, he said that despite these circumstances, when the government and the people stand together, no power can bring Iran to its knees.

The Iranian president added that the pressures and plans designed by enemies aimed to make the people dissatisfied and push them toward protests, but the Iranian people are “noble” and have stood by Iran, the country, and its future.

Pezeshkian then addressed the issue of human rights and the international perception of wartime developments, stating that actions carried out against civilians and children have no logical justification and have left negative repercussions on global public opinion. He also stressed that targeting scientific centers, scientists, and influential figures is part of the pressures being exerted by Iran’s adversaries.

The Iranian president also highlighted the role of the Leader’s support in managing tensions. Referring to his acquaintance with Leader Ayatollah Mojtaba Khamenei, he said that, in his view, Ayatollah Khamenei’s personality is “exceptional” in terms of ethics, reasoning, and humility.

He added that his experience in discussions with him has shown that his interactions are characterized by support, kindness, and respect. He said he has always been able to openly express his views, and that he has received responses grounded in logic and mutual respect.
