Iranian student national robotics team finishes as world runner-up

Pars Today – Iran’s national student robotics team finished as the world runner-up at the 2026 World Robotics Competition, held in Beijing, the capital of China.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Iranian representatives delivered a strong performance across five specialized leagues at the 2026 World Robotics Competition in Beijing, securing second place overall behind the host team.

Iran’s under-17 national student robotics team, consisting of 13 young talents, competed against representatives from 48 countries at the 2026 World Robotics Competition in China.

Over three days, the Iranian team competed in the Rescue, Line Follower, Creativity, Rugby, Applied Engineering Design, and Technical Report leagues.

Iran’s young national team members faced strong competitors, including teams from China, Romania, South Korea, Malaysia, Egypt, and Switzerland.
