Pars Today — Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf, Speaker of the Iranian Parliament, has separately congratulated the newly appointed senior commanders and officials of Iran’s Armed Forces following their appointments by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, the Iranian Parliament Speaker, in a message congratulating Major General Pilot Ali Abdollahi on his appointment as Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, said:

“Your effective role in commanding the Third Imposed War and your demonstration of the strength of Iran’s self-sacrificing Armed Forces are a shining chapter in your record. Today, the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces need commanders more than ever who, alongside strength and resolve, understand the battlefield well and are willing to shoulder responsibility for major decisions at difficult moments courageously.”

In another message congratulating Major General Ahmad Vahidi on his appointment as Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian Parliament Speaker stressed:

“The IRGC has proven to be a secure and steadfast pillar of support for the noble people of Iran. Thanks to the blood of its fallen martyrs, it has also, under your courageous command during the recent imposed war, been and will remain a significant source of support for Iran’s territorial integrity and national strength.”

Mohammad Bagher Qalibaf also congratulated Brigadier General Kioumars Heidari on his appointment as Deputy Chief of Staff of Iran’s Armed Forces, stressing:

“The heroic Army has offered its brave martyrs in defense of our beloved homeland during the eight-year Sacred Defense and the Third Imposed War. The blessing of the pure blood of those courageous men will be your source of strength and support on this sacred path.”

Meanwhile, the Speaker of the Iranian Parliament congratulated Hojjatoleslam Hossein Taeb on his appointment as Head of the Basij Organization.

Qalibaf stressed that today, more than ever, the Basij needs a comprehensive, forward-looking approach based on the vast potential of the people—an approach consistent with the vision of the martyred Imam and Leader of the Islamic Revolution, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, which views the Basij not merely as an organization, but as a broad network of faith, motivation, expertise, creativity and popular capabilities dedicated to advancing the goals of the Islamic Revolution.

Qalibaf also said in a message congratulating Major General Mostafa Izadi on his appointment as Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps:

“Your experience can now serve as a valuable asset in directing the IRGC’s extensive capabilities and addressing Iran’s emerging security and defense needs.”

He added: “The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps is a lasting legacy of Imam Khomeini (God bless his soul) and one of the most important pillars of the defense of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Under the leadership of Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, it has successfully passed through major tests.”

The Iranian Parliament Speaker, in a message congratulating Rear Admiral Ali Ozamaei on his appointment as Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Navy, also stressed:

“The IRGC Navy has, in recent years, built an impressive record in defending the rights and interests of the Islamic Republic of Iran, relying on the initiative, courage and capabilities of its personnel. This path began with the courageous words of the great Imam Khomeini and, under the leadership of Martyr Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Hosseini Khamenei, continued with strength and determination, astonishing the world.”
