Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian
Pars Today — Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian, stressing the need to remain steadfast in the face of sanctions and enemy obstruction, said that although Iran’s adversaries have closed off every path, the country will, with God’s help, open new avenues and find ways to serve the Iranian people.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB News, Pezeshkian made the remarks at the 11th International Conference of Expatriate Mujahideen, emphasizing what he described as the profound foresight and exceptional wisdom of the late Leader of the Islamic Revolution in managing the country.
He said: “Iran’s stability and security today are indebted to the guidance of that distinguished martyr. Despite all the pressures and restrictions imposed by our enemies, his ideas, path and guidance have always been our guiding light.”
Referring to the Martyred Leader’s strategic approach, Pezeshkian added: “With a transformative outlook, he turned threats into opportunities and guided us through crises created by our enemies. The enemies believed they could plunge the country into famine, looting and social collapse by creating insecurity and applying pressure. But their calculations—based on artificial intelligence data, espionage networks, hired operatives and their domestic proxies—were one by one foiled.”
He added: “As the martyred Leader had said, the people rose up, took to the streets and came onto the scene, creating a strong barrier against the conspiracies.”
The Iranian president went on to recall the massive farewell ceremony for the martyred Leader, saying:
“On that day, I declared that I was not bidding farewell to him, because his path will always continue, and we must follow this path with unity, strength, solidarity and coordination. Standing up to our enemies is possible only through mutual solidarity, and they never believed that our nation could steadfastly defend its values and national existence.”
Pezeshkian described the Iranian people’s full-scale presence on various fronts during the 12-day war and the Ramadan war as unparalleled, stressing: “For more than 160 days, the Iranian nation has selflessly and wholeheartedly stood up in defense of the homeland. This deep-rooted solidarity is an enormous asset that will never allow us to bow our heads before our enemies or accept defeat.”
Emphasizing the need to remain steadfast in the face of sanctions and enemy obstruction, he said: “Although our enemies have closed every path, with God’s help we will open new avenues and find a way to serve the people of Iran.”
