Pars Today — Iran’s acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics said that Iran entered the Ramadan Warmuch stronger than it had in the 12-day war, adding that Iran’s tactical and technical surprises were also significantly more advanced than in the previous conflict.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ebn al-Reza, Iran’s acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, made the remarks on Friday on the occasion of Iran’s Defense Industry Day on August 22.

He said universities, scientific and research laboratories, knowledge-based companies, scientists, engineers, workers, specialists, and thousands of young Iranians working around the clock to safeguard Iran’s security and national power represent only part of the country’s defense industry.

He emphasized that Iran’s defense capabilities are not intended for warmongering, but to prevent war and aggression.

“We have never been and will never be the initiator of aggression against any country. We are not advocates of military aggression, but we will not allow military aggression against Iran’s territory, independence, or security,” he said.

Ebn al-Reza went on to say that the experience of the recent war was a major lesson. He described the conflict as a major test for the Iranian people, despite all its bitterness, costs, and losses.

“We lost dear ones, including senior commanders, military commanders, scientists, women, and children who were unjustly martyred in this war. The loss of our martyrs is something we will never forget,” he said.

However, he added that alongside this great tragedy, the Iranian people witnessed another profound reality: the power of national self-confidence and self-reliance.

He noted that the war demonstrated that if the Iranian people stand on their own feet, trust their young people, harness science and technology, and remain united and cohesive, they can withstand all threats.

Brigadier General Ebn al-Reza described another lesson of the recent war as national unity and cohesion, saying that whenever the people and the country’s defense capabilities stood together, Iran was able to mobilize all its capabilities against its adversaries with strength.

He then compared the 12-day and 40-day wars, saying: “We entered the Ramadan War considerably stronger than we had in the 12-day war, and our technical and tactical surprises were also significantly more advanced than in the previous conflict.”

He added that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Armed Forces achieved far greater penetration deep into enemy bases, while the number of enemy operational and reconnaissance helicopters and aircraft brought down, as well as Iran’s ability to monitor the enemy’s regional activities and carry out painful actions against it, was far greater than during the second imposed war.
