Ulyanov: Tehran has ability to withstand maximum pressure

Pars Today — Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, responding to the Trump administration’s alleged economic campaign against Iran, said that positive results can only be achieved through honest diplomacy.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Mikhail Ulyanov, Russia’s permanent representative to international organizations in Vienna, responded to the U.S. government’s alleged economic campaign against Iran and Donald Trump’s threat to punish any country that supports Iran. In a post on X, he wrote:

“Iran has remained under US sanctions for decades. Tehran demonstrated its ability to withstand “maximum pressure” during the first Trump’s tenure."

He emphasized: “If Washington wants to achieve some of its goals, it has chosen the wrong way. Positive results are possible only through honest diplomacy. The sooner the US understands that, the better.”
