USS Abraham Lincoln forced to leave region

Pars Today — U.S. media outlets reported that the USS Abraham Lincoln aircraft carrier set course for the port of San Diego on Thursday after nine months of deployment and operations in West Asia.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, the aircraft carrier is returning to the United States following reports of a crisis among its crew, as well as structural and food-related problems.

The Times, citing a U.S. official, reported that the USS Abraham Lincoln, carrying approximately 5,000 personnel, began its journey back to the United States on Thursday after another carrier strike group arrived in the region.
