Pars Today — The Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army said that a nation that builds a defensive shield through the capabilities of its own people and uses it to preserve its dignity and independence will not only refuse to surrender, but will undoubtedly emerge victorious.

According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Major General Amir Hatami, Commander-in-Chief of Iran’s Army, issued a message on the occasion of Defense Industry Day, congratulating Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ebn al-Reza, Acting Minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics of Iran.

In his message, General Hatami said that over the years, Iran’s Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics has played an effective role in strengthening the Islamic Republic of Iran’s deterrence and defense capabilities by designing, producing and upgrading a wide range of defense equipment and systems required by the armed forces.

He stressed that a significant portion of these achievements demonstrated their effectiveness and capabilities on actual battlefields and during recent wars, becoming, before the eyes of the world, a symbol of the capabilities and potential of Iran’s indigenous defense industry.

He noted that, amid the difficult circumstances of recent times, the close integration between the combat capabilities of Iran’s armed forces and the country’s exceptional defense industry capacities also offered a clear demonstration of the Islamic Republic of Iran’s national power.

“This led the enemies, in the face of the resilience and defensive capabilities of the Iranian nation, to change their calculations and ultimately agree to an understanding and a political solution,” he said.

Major General Hatami stressed that the Islamic Republic of Iran’s Army regards cooperation and synergy with the Ministry of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics as one of the pillars of strengthening the country’s defense capabilities.

He emphasized the importance of continuing this strategic cooperation in order to meet the Army’s requirements, upgrade its equipment, exchange expertise, and make use of the country’s scientific and industrial capacities.
