Pars Today- Iran’s acting defense minister said the Islamic Republic of Iran and its decision-making apparatus attach no value to their threats, adding that such threats have no operational significance.

According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Brigadier General Seyyed Majid Ebn al-Reza, Iran’s acting minister of Defense and Armed Forces Logistics, referring to the enemy’s repeated threats and remarks by some US officials, said some American officials believe that by repeating their threats, they can change Iran’s resolve or intimidate the Islamic Republic, but they are seriously mistaken.

He added that the enemy’s insistence on repeating past threats, rather than being a sign of strength, indicates the paralysis of its intelligence and analytical apparatus and, ultimately, the erosion of its ability to exercise rational judgment. He said that if an organization’s intelligence and analytical apparatus could properly assess and analyze realities on the ground, it could not continue insisting on claims and threats whose falsehood had been repeatedly proven.

Brigadier General Ebn al-Reza stressed: “The enemy must understand this very simple and clear reality: Iran should not be addressed through threats. The Islamic Republic of Iran and our decision-making apparatus attach no value to their threats, and from our perspective, these threats have no operational significance. They are more of a political message or political statement than a message backed by real military capabilities.”

Iran’s acting defense minister, referring to developments in the region and the results of US and Israeli regime policies there, said: “The developments and realities we are witnessing in the region today are the result of their wrong policies and miscalculations. The Islamic Republic of Iran has never been and will never be a threat to neighboring countries or the peoples of the region. It has always sought, with wisdom and prudence, to distinguish between friends and enemies, and has clearly stated and conveyed this rational approach both in practice and in different circumstances.”

He continued: “I say with a very high degree of confidence that if another war breaks out today, the Islamic Republic of Iran will act with far greater technological power and advancement than in previous wars. Those who try to portray the continued operation of the country’s technological activities, production lines and weapons factories as merely a narrative or a media headline saw the capabilities of our armed forces clearly on the battlefield. What is sometimes displayed represents only a small part of the actual capabilities and existing capacities of the country’s defense industry, and this path continues with strength.”

Brigadier General Ebn al-Reza said Iran today is stronger, more united and more vigilant than at any other point in its history, adding that the defense and technological capabilities of countries have also advanced and been upgraded based on the experience and lessons learned from the battlefield.

He stressed that Iran is fully prepared to confront threats, adding that this readiness is entirely based on its own independent capabilities and strategies. The Islamic Republic of Iran relies on its own will, capabilities and indigenous capacities to ensure its security and defend its interests.
