Third US military drone destroyed in over Strait of Hormuz

Pars Today – Another US military drone was intercepted and destroyed by the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) in the skies over the Strait of Hormuz on Tuesday.

According to Pars Today, citing Tasnim News Agency, the third US military MQ-1 drone was intercepted and destroyed on Tuesday by the fire of the IRGC Aerospace Force’s advanced air defense system, under the control of Iran’s integrated air defense network, in the skies over the Strait of Hormuz.

During the Third Imposed War, hundreds of invading drones have reportedly been shot down by Iran’s air defenses, including the “Lukas,” “Hermes,” MQ-1 and MQ-9 drones.

A few days ago, the IRGC Public Relations Department announced the destruction of a US unmanned surface vessel (USV) at the entrance to the strategic Strait of Hormuz. The operation was carried out on Thursday evening, September 10, and was described as a precise, intelligent and timely IRGC operation in defense of Iran’s territorial integrity and vital interests.
