Iran Mercantile Exchange monthly trade exceeds $1bln in December

Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME) announced that around $1,087bln of various commodities weighting over 2,270,000 tons were traded in its domestic trading and exports halls in December.

The IME said that nearly 1,396,000 tons of different oil and petrochemical commodities with the total value of $604mln were traded in last month.

186,000 tons of agricultural products worth $60mln were also traded in agricultural trading halls of the IME in December.

The IME added that 681,000 tons of metal and mineral products worth more than $420mln were traded in its domestic and export halls in the last month.
