Iran, Brazil ink health MoU

Iranian and Brazilian health ministers in a meeting in Geneva signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to increase mutual cooperation in the development of medical technologies and research, hygiene and pharmaceutical sectors.

The MoU was endorsed by Iranian Health Minister Hassan Qazizadeh Hashemi and his Brazilian counterpart Ricardo Barros on the sidelines of the 70th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland.

The MoU, which has been compiled in 8 paragraphs, took effect on Tuesday and will be implemented in the next four years.

It includes cooperation in the fields of hygiene, food, medicine, medical and laboratorial equipment, medical centers, contagious and non-contagious diseases and research.
