Iran’s Araqchi in Vienna for JCPOA joint commission meeting
Iran’s Deputy Foreign Minister for Legal and International Affairs Seyed Abbas Araqchi is in the Austrian capital of Vienna for a meeting of joint commission of a nuclear deal reached between Tehran and world powers in July.
According to Tasnim News, the third meeting of JCPOA (Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action) Joint Commission is slated to be held on Friday.
On the sidelines of the meeting, the Iranian delegation, headed by Araqchi, is scheduled to hold bilateral talks with a number of officials from the group 5+1 (the six permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany).
The last session of the commission was held on December 7, 2015, in Vienna.
Issues related to the implementation of the JCPOA, will reportedly be addressed by the commission.
