AFC Asian Cup: Iran 3-0 China

Team Iran have blazed past China 3-nil to take a golden ticket to the semifinals of the 2019 AFC Asian Cup to counter Japan.

Just 18 minutes into the game and Iran’s use of long balls came in handy when Sardar Azmoun latched onto a loose ball behind the Chinese defence and produced an empty-net cutback for Mehdi Taremi to tap-in. 

After 30 minutes of play, Team Melli doubled their lead, thanks to Azmoun who sat the Chinese Keeper down in a one-on-one situation, blasting out the Iranian-Stands into celebration.

The match was almost over when another Chinese Defensive Flop was met by a great finish from Karim Ansarifard to seal a clean 3-nil victory for the Persian Gulf Giants.
