Hodhod and Kowsar: Launching of two Iranian research satellites in autumn
Pars Today- Iranian satellites Kowsar and Hodhod will be launched in the coming autumn.
Hussein Shahrabi, CEO of a knowledge-based space company, said about launching of the measurement satellite, Kowsar, and the telecommunication narrowband satellite, Hodhod, "Due to the importance of international launching for influence in the global market, the Iranian satellites Kowsar and Hodhod in the domain of measurement and internet of things (IOT), this time have been launched with Russian launchers instead of Iranian launchers.
The CEO of the knowledge-based space company added that immediately after the launching of the two satellites, Kowsar and Hodhod, we will pursue the issue of IOD2. In this project, the two current satellites are supposed to be combined and launched to enable the compound satellite to carry out two missions of communication and measurement simultaneously.
