Pars Today - The Deputy of Iran's National Microelectronic Program announced the sale of Iranian knowledge-based products in the field of microelectronics to NASA and MIT.

Nima Arjmandi, Deputy of Iran's National Microelectronic Program, said at the meeting of microelectronic technology and innovation ecosystem activists at the Nanotechnology and Industry Think Tank: "Some Iranian knowledge-based companies in the field of microelectronics have successfully exported microelectronic equipment and software to NASA and MIT."

According to him, some of these companies have 15 offices around the world and have had good exports so far.

According to Pars Today, Arjmandi emphasized that the microchip market in Iran is not monopolized by anyone; for example, several companies are active in the field of silicon and have exports. In the field of equipment, companies have started their work with the support of Iran's nanotechnology headquarters and have developed products. According to him, they have now become large companies.

He also referred to the establishment of the National Microchip Design Acceleration Center, saying: "This center was established to address design problems in microchips and is a national and interdisciplinary infrastructure that all Iranians can use, and is not limited to one professor or university."
He also added: "The National Microchip Design Acceleration Center has the necessary infrastructure for chip design, and it helps to complete the design of microchips and test the final product."
