Iran condemns Israeli military aggression at WIPO General Assembly
Pars Today – In a virtual session of the General Assembly of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) in Geneva, the deputy head of Iran’s Judiciary and head of the Iranian State Organization for Registration of Deeds and Properties firmly condemned the Israeli regime’s military aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, describing it as a blatant violation of fundamental principles of international law and the UN Charter.
According to Pars Today citing ISNA, Hassan Babaei highlighted Iran’s long-standing tradition—spanning over a century—of protecting intellectual property rights and emphasized the role of this valuable heritage in advancing Iran’s economic, social, and cultural goals.
He also outlined Iran’s achievements in strengthening its intellectual property framework, including updating laws and joining international treaties, and declared effective support for innovators, producers, and knowledge-based companies as key priorities of Iran’s Intellectual Property Center.
