  • British Journalist to Westerners: What you are told on hatred towards Raesi is a lie

Pars Today- Richard Medhurst, British writer and journalist, pointing to the Iranian people's million-strong presence at the funeral of their martyred president, Seyeyd Ebrahim Raeisi, criticized the lie-dissemination of Western media against late Iranian president.

Richard Medhurst wrote on X social network, "I'm at President Raisi's funeral in Tehran. Millions of people are in the streets. President Putin and Ismail Haniyeh have also come to pay their respects. Whatever Western media told you about Raisi being 'disliked' in Iran is a lie. His passing is a loss for the entire world."

People of Tehran held a very glorious funeral for their martyred president on Wednesday.

Seyyed Ebrahim Raeisi, President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Hossein Amir-Abdullahian, the Iranian Foreign Minister, and their accompanying delegation had gone to East Azarbaijan province on Sunday for inauguration and exploitation of Qiz Qalasi dam project and completion and development of Khoda Afarin dam which was put jointly into action with the Republic of Azerbaijan.
