Pars Today- Imam Khamenei, in a message to the 58th session of the Union of Islamic Students Associations in Europe, pointing to the current complicated issues in the world, emphasized on role-creation and effectiveness of these students in great issues with relying on motive, faith and self-confidence.

Below is the full text of the message of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution:

In the name of God, the Compassionate, the Merciful.

Dear students! Your deep-rooted and reputed union and the continuation of its activities is a promising phenomenon. This collective presence, by itself, can be role-creating in the current complicated issues of the world.

Effectiveness in great issues relies on motive, faith and self-confidence of the activists more than any quantity and quality. And, thank God, this precious asset exists and is visible in you, the Iranian faithful and revolutionary youths.

You know the important issues and the new and old wounds of the world. The latest of them is the unique tragedy of Gaza. The most conspicuous of them is the ethical, political and social defeat of the West, Western politicians and Western civilization. The most admonishing of them is the failure of the masqueraders of liberal democracy who claim to establish freedom of expression and their deadly neglect of the issue of economic and social justice. The feeble but hope-inspiring sparkle of popular protests, specially student [protests] in America and Europe are also among the current important issues.

The region of West Asia and our dear country, too, are facing with numerous small and great issues. These are all the grounds for thought, work and innovation of a blessed group like your union.

I appeal to God, the Mighty and the Wise, for your successes.
