Larijani blasts 'Deal of Century' conference in Bahrain as "betrayal"

Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani
Iran’s Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani lashed out at Bahrain for betraying the Palestinian nation by hosting the US-sponsored Deal of Century conference.
"The plan ignores even the very little attention paid to Muslims and Palestinians' rights in previous drafted schemes, and it now fully violates the Palestinians' rights and envisages no role for the Palestinian refugees in the country's future," Larijani said, addressing an open session of the parliament in Tehran on Sunday.
"The plan is a betrayal and wicked," he added.
Larijani underlined the need for all Muslims across the world to mass-participate in the International Quds Day rallies on Friday to voice firm opposition to the Israeli occupation and defend the Palestinians' rights.
In relevant remarks last Tuesday, Advisor to the Iranian Parliament Speaker Hossein Amir Abdollahian lashed out at Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and ale-Khalifa officials for betraying the Palestinian and Bahraini nations.
"Kushner, Trump's Zionist son-in-law, has spoken of unveiling the 'Deal of Century' plot in Bahrain," Amir Abdollahian wrote on his twitter page on Tuesday.
"Netanyahu intends to turn Bahrain into an Israeli island and Riyadh wants Bahrain to pay the heavy price of the 'Deal of Century'," he added.
Amir Abdollahian said that the ale-Khalifa regime was both committing crime against the Bahraini people and betraying the Palestinian nation.
