Change words, plant images so no one objects! / Israel's propaganda
Pars Today - During the 9-month Israeli attack on Gaza, over 38,000 Palestinians have been martyred. But why don't all social media users protest Israel's crimes against the people of Gaza? How has Israel managed to convince public opinion?
The magnitude of the massacre of the people of Gaza by Israel becomes clear when we know that during the 20-year bloody war in Afghanistan, 40,000 civilians were killed. Yet, messages of sympathy with Israel are seen on social media. How has Israel managed to win over these individuals? This is the question we will answer in this article from Pars Today.
Ugly concept, beautiful word
During the US attack on Iraq, former US President George Bush was accused of torturing prisoners in Guantanamo. However, in his speech defending his government's actions, he used the phrase "advanced interrogation methods" instead of "torture". By doing so, the harsh and bitter word "torture" that evokes a negative reaction from every audience was replaced with the gentle phrase "advanced interrogation methods", making the audience less likely to take a strong stance against it. This technique is called "Euphemism".
Euphemism is a technique widely used by Zionist media these days. For example, they use the phrase "retaliatory operations" to describe their airstrikes on residential areas in Gaza.
Attachment becomes more important!
In many war video games, such as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2019, the terrorist headquarters are located in hospitals, and the player must attack these locations to win. Many movies have also been produced in recent years where the hero attacks hospitals to destroy terrorists, such as the movie "Assault on VA-33".
The audience gradually accepts that terrorists use hospitals as hideouts. This mental acceptance makes it believable when Israel, without providing evidence, accuses Hamas of building operational tunnels under hospitals. At this point, Israel bombs the Al-Ma'madani Hospital in Gaza, killing 500 people, but does not face public pressure. This technique, repeatedly used by Zionist media, is called "Media Attachment".
The media attachment means that if you want to do something that might provoke public outcry, you should first create a mental acceptance of that action in the media, making it seem normal and natural. This normalization makes it less likely that you will face public pressure when you carry out the action.
Attachment is created gradually
The media attachment consists of two stages. In the first stage, months or even years before, entertainment media repeatedly portray a behavior in different forms, making it seem normal to the audience. In the example above, the presence of terrorist headquarters in hospitals in movies and video games falls into this stage.
In the second stage, a few weeks before or a day before the operation, a claim is made that justifies your action. In the previous example, this stage includes Israel's claim about Hamas's presence in Gaza hospitals, which justifies the attack on the hospital. After these two stages, people easily accept your justification, and you can carry out your action with ease.
In conclusion, it can be said that Zionist media have successfully managed to control public opinion worldwide; to the extent that the massacre of the people of Gaza by the Israeli army receives less protest from people around the world. These methods are just two examples of Israel's numerous techniques for diverting public opinion from reality.
