  • Israel faces shortage of suitable missiles

Pars Today - An English newspaper reported on the challenge of Israel's shortage of air defense missiles.

The Financial Times, citing industrial managers, former military officials, and analysts, wrote that the Israeli regime is facing a shortage of interceptor missiles as it tries to strengthen its air defense against attacks.

According to Pars Today, the newspaper added that the US is trying to help reduce the gap in Israel's protective shield.

As a result, the Financial Times reported on Sunday that the US has deployed the THAAD anti-missile system in Israeli-occupied territories.

The newspaper acknowledged that the Zionist regime had limited success in intercepting 180 ballistic missiles fired by Iran on October 1 during the Islamic Republic's missile operation against Israeli positions.

The media outlet, citing analysts, noted that nearly 36 missiles hit the Nevatim airbase, and another missile exploded 700 meters from the Mossad headquarters.
Meanwhile, the Financial Times quoted Dana Stroul, a former US defense official, as saying: "The issue of Israel's ammunition is very serious. If Iran responds to Israeli attacks and Hezbollah joins in, Israel's air defense will be under pressure."

She added: The US's ammunition reserves are not unlimited, and it cannot continue to supply arms to both Ukraine and Israel simultaneously. We have reached a critical point.
