Hebrew newspaper TheMarker: There is no bright horizon for economic future of Israel
Pars Today - An Israeli economic media outlet has acknowledged that the war has had a devastating impact on the regime's economy, so that even several years after the end of the war, Tel Aviv will not be able to fix this situation.
The Hebrew-language newspaper TheMarker wrote in a report about the Israeli regime's war with Gaza: Not only has the number of closed businesses in Israel not decreased over the past year, but predictions indicate that their numbers will increase by the end of 2024.
According to Pars Today, quoting Tasnim, TheMarker stated in this article that Israel's economy has suffered severe losses since the start of the war against Gaza in October 2023 until today, and has increased further with the expansion of the war to southern Lebanon.
According to this Zionist newspaper, obtaining representation and opening companies in Israel during the first quarter of 2024 has significantly decreased compared to the same period in previous years.
Also according to this report, many business owners in Israel have suspended their plans for expansion or entering new business projects, and they all attribute this action to Israel being caught in a war that began a year ago and has no end in sight.
The newspaper, referring to high bank interest rates and the lack of any clear horizon for their reduction, states: The Israeli cabinet and banks are not showing any rush to grant loans, and company owners are suffering from decreased income.
According to this media outlet, currently, tens of thousands of people in Israel have evacuated their homes, and for many of them, starting a new business project given their circumstances is extremely out of reach.
