Pars Today – The Palestinian Ministry of Health has released a report detailing the number of martyrs in Gaza who were martyred at humanitarian aid distribution centers.

According to the report, from October 7, 2023, to August 1, 2025, 60,332 Palestinians have been martyred and 147,643 injured in Israeli attacks on Gaza. As reported by Pars Today, in the past 24 hours alone, 91 people were martyred at humanitarian aid distribution centers run by the U.S. and the Israeli regime in Gaza, and more than 666 others were injured.

With these latest incidents, the total number of "Bread Martyrs" has risen to 1,330, and the number of wounded in this context to 8,818.

It is worth noting that UN agencies have described these aid distribution centers as “death traps.” These centers were established in February 2025 under the name "Gaza Humanitarian Foundation" (GHF), on the claim that Hamas was stealing humanitarian aid—an accusation repeatedly rejected by the United Nations. The move was part of an effort to strip the UN of its aid distribution role.

In this operation, two American private security companies—Safe Reach Solutions and UG Solutions—took over aid distribution at four centers, which are surrounded by Israeli military forces.

Aitor Zabalgoegazcoa, emergency coordinator for Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders) in Gaza, vividly described the situation at these centers:

“The four distribution centers are located in areas fully controlled by Israeli forces after displacing the local population. Each center is about the size of a football field, surrounded by dirt mounds, barbed wire, and watchtowers. There’s only one entrance. When GHF workers place food boxes inside and open the gate, thousands of people rush in simultaneously and fight over the last grain of rice.”

Zabalgoegazcoa adds: “If someone arrives early and approaches the checkpoint, they are shot. If they make it on time but there’s a crowd and they jump over the berms or barbed wire, they’re also shot. If they arrive late—since the area is designated as an ‘evacuated zone’—they’re still shot.”
