Yemen warns Trump
Pars Today – Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs warned against Trump administration’s adventurism and brutality in the Persian Gulf, and announced Sana’a’s support for Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz.
According to Pars Today, citing IRNA, Yemen’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement on Tuesday that the U.S. and Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran, along with U.S. piracy in the Sea of Oman, has forced the world to pay a heavy price—reflected in disruptions to supply chains and maritime transport, as well as rising transportation costs and the prices of energy and food.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry condemned U.S. piracy in the Sea of Oman, attacks on Iranian commercial vessels, and the detention of their crews, describing these actions as a clear violation of international law and the freedom of navigation.
The statement also described Iran’s actions in the Strait of Hormuz, as well as the right of countries to defend themselves and to restrict navigation in their own waters in order to counter security threats, as lawful. It emphasized that the only solution to the situation in the Strait of Hormuz lies in addressing the roots of the American‑Israeli aggression against the Islamic Republic of Iran.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry warned certain opportunistic actors outside the region against taking any steps that would complicate the situation further and inflict serious damage on supply chains, energy prices, and the global economy—already harmed, it said, as a result of the brutality of the criminal Trump and his Zionist partners.
