Pars Today – The spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces said that, following the escalation of maritime restrictions on Saudi oil tankers, eight Saudi vessels were forced to change course and sail around the Cape of Good Hope.
According to Pars Today, citing IRIB, Yahya Saree, spokesperson for Yemen’s Armed Forces, said in a statement: “The blockade operation against Saudi Arabia will continue, and the ships of this country will be targeted wherever possible.”
Yahya Saree also praised the millions of Yemenis who took part in demonstrations supporting the “blockade for blockade” equation, stressing that Yemen’s Armed Forces would spare no effort to end the blockade on the Yemeni people and reclaim their rights.
Yemen’s Foreign Ministry also stated that Saudi Arabia is facing a historic deadlock and called on regional countries to refrain from supporting Riyadh’s policies.
The statement said: “Yemen’s confrontation with Saudi Arabia aims to end the blockade and secure the rights of the Yemeni people.”
