Sana'a issues strong warning to Riyadh

Pars Today – Yemen’s Foreign Ministry, while emphasizing the consolidation of the “blockade for blockade” equation, issued a strong warning to Riyadh against any escalation and its consequences.

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr News Agency, Yemen’s Foreign Ministry said in a statement:

“The Saudi regime’s attempt to escalate the situation through a policy of evasion will be met with comprehensive escalation, the consequences of which it will not be able to bear.”

The statement added:

“The equation of ‘blockade for blockade’ has been firmly established as an undeniable reality. Yemen adopted this course only after exhausting all other options to secure its legitimate rights.”

Describing some expressions of alignment with Saudi Arabia as merely symbolic, Yemen’s Foreign Ministry stressed that the free world recognizes the legitimacy of Yemen’s positions.

The statement concluded that Saudi Arabia’s efforts to absorb the shock of recent developments have failed and that the kingdom is now sinking deeper into the quagmire of its own crimes.
