Sheikh Naim Qassem: We commend Iran's positions, will not abandon resistance

Pars Today- The Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, while honoring the memory of martyrs Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, addressed the two martyrs, saying: “You built a steadfast and strong party, resistance and popular movement, and we will continue on this path.”

According to Pars Today, citing Mehr, Sheikh Naim Qassem, Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, in a speech marking the anniversary of the martyrdom of Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah and Hashem Safieddine, paid tribute to the “Sayyed of the Martyrs of the Resistance,” addressing the martyr: “You have become a symbol for the free people of the world. You are the leader of the international resistance and an inspiration to the free people of the world. You have left us, but your teachings remain, and the light of your giving continues to give us determination and resolve. You built a steadfast and strong party, resistance and popular movement, and we will continue on this path.”

Referring to the late Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah, Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, as having become a symbol and source of inspiration for the free people of the world, he added: “You raised the flag of Palestine and planted it in our lives. Palestine will remain our compass, and the liberation of our land will remain our priority. This anniversary, through the lofty status of the martyrs and through continuing their path, has bestowed steadfastness and endurance upon us.”

Resistance Foiled the Aggressors’ Objectives

Sheikh Naim Qassem stressed: “The Resistance, in cooperation with Resistance fighters and the honorable people, thwarted the objectives of the aggression. The Resistance proved that the aggressors are incapable of achieving their goal of eliminating it. Resistance fighters were able to confront these massive forces. Resistance fighters halted the advance of the enemy’s brigades and army.”

Praise for Iran’s Positions

The Secretary-General of Lebanon’s Hezbollah added: “We commend the positions of heroic, martyr-producing and self-sacrificing Iran, which has presented Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei to the Islamic world.” The Hezbollah Secretary-General described the Iranian people as a great nation and praised the Islamic Revolution Guards Corps (IRGC), security forces, commanders and those working on the front lines, expressing hope that Iran would continue its progress under the leadership of Ayatollah Seyyed Mojtaba Khamenei.
